Portrait Photo Packages – Olney Buckinghamshire

Portrait Photo Packages – Olney Buckinghamshire

Are you looking for a photo package that you can use for Christmas Gifts – sorry to mention Christmas !!   If you are looking for just a few images from a session rather than a full portrait shoot then perhaps one of my mini-shoot sessions might suit you.

I offer mini-sessions 2 or 3 times a year maximum – usually in Spring and Autumn.  A mini-session is a short session – around 20-30 minutes and comes as a photo package.  These sessions cost £135 and include the fee for the short session, 2 mounted images and 2 hi-resolution digital files.

Because these shoots are only 20-30 minutes they do not suit very young babies that cannot sit up unsupported, very “challenging” toddlers that are not keen to do anything you or I might suggest or very very shy children that take a long time to warm up.  If you have a child that fits into these categories you would be better opting for a full photo session.  My full sessions take as long as we need to do the shoot working around the needs of the child and any major meltdowns.

The next mini-shoots will take place on Saturdays in Autumn – the Autumn weather is usually ideal for shoots and the colours are just lovely.  They are ideally timed to enable you to get presents organised for grandparents etc..

Please get in touch if you are interested in booking a mini-shoot – these will on 18th October and 8th November at Castle Ashby Gardens in Northamptonshire.  The slots book up extremely quickly so book early to avoid missing out.   Email info@siobhanmurphyphotography.co.uk

To give you an idea of the sort of images you might expect from a mini-shoot – here are some examples from the mini-shoot days in Spring.  I have a great deal of experience so I can work very fast and get you some lovely images in a short time frame.

Autumn is coming and we are all fed up that we are seeing the end of a wonderful summer.  But I love Autumn, it is actually one of my absolute favourite times of year to take photos.  The light is great, the colours are wonderful, we often have those fabulous crisp mornings and stunning clear blue skies.

It’s a great time to go outside, have some fun in the fresh air and get some great location photos of children playing in the Autumn leaves.

Just to give you a taster – here are just a handful of the images that I took last Autumn.  If you would like a session on a weekend make sure you get in touch as early as possible – the weekend appointments go really fast as people are often timing their images to use for Christmas gifts (sorry to use the “C” word !).

I will also be announcing 2 mini-session dates at Castle Ashby Gardens in Northamptonshire – these book up super quick as they are a bargain package so email me on info@siobhanmurphyphotography.co.uk and book your slot early.

In the meantime – enjoy this taste of gorgeous Autumn.

Beautiful Intimate Wedding in Portmeirion Wales

Beautiful Intimate Wedding in Portmeirion Wales.

I was lucky enough to visit Portmeirion in Wales last weekend for the wedding of a lovely couple and their closest family members.  It was really lovely to be part of the day in such a beautiful and unusual setting – it really is a photographer’s dream.  I have wanted to visit Portmeirion since I saw pictures of it on a photo site a few months ago so it was wonderful to have the opportunity arise in such an unexpected way.

The ceremony took place at the Hotel Portmeirion in a lovely room called the mirror room which was a gorgeous setting and the mirrors created some great reflections during the ceremony which was both moving and lighthearted at the same time.

I popped to have a chat with the ladies whilst they were getting ready for the ceremony.  This is a lovely part of the day – a mixture of nerves and laughter.

The hotel is gorgeous the ceremony room – seating just 9 people – was perfect.  The ceremony was a lovely personal ceremony – with some great moments of fun amidst the formal vows.

Their 2 year old Grandson was in charge of delivering the rings – he did a wonderful job – and then insisted on remaining centre stage for the rest of the ceremony.

After the ceremony was a glass of champagne followed by a walk around Portmeirion Village.  There were no end of opportunities for photos and we had a nice relaxed wander about.

And always important to grab a Titanic moment if the opportunity arises.

Beautiful couple and a wonderful day – wishing you every happiness.

In case anyone is interested I first saw Portmeirion on this link about 12 amazing places you would not believe were in the UK.

Wedding Hall Park Rushden

Wedding Hall Park Rushden

I recently photographed a lovely wedding in Hall Park in Rushden.  The ceremony was in the nearby church and there was a lovely Marquee set up in the walled garden next to Rushden Hall.

There were lots of gorgeous little bridesmaids and it was a perfect sunny day.  A lovely ceremony followed by a lovely reception with lots of Pimms.

Here are a few images from the church.

I particularly loved the cake

We took some pictures in the park which was a fabulous backdrop.

Garden Wedding in Wellingborough

Garden Wedding in Wellingborough.

I photographed a beautiful garden wedding in Wellingborough the weekend before last.  The whole day was filled with colour and laughter – there was a fabulously decorated marquee, stunning brightly coloured flowers, a Mariachi band and Pinata games for the kids.

The wedding started with a bit of rain – I guess on Glastonbury weekend you have to be lucky to avoid that – but it soon cheered up and didn’t spoilt the celebrations at all.  I actually really like some of the images leaving the registry office and walking through the park with the umbrellas.

The sun came out soon afterwards anyway and it was a gorgeous afternoon and evening.

Here is a selection from the day – I have to say this was one of the most relaxed weddings I’ve photographed with a wonderful moment in the ceremony when the Bride got the giggles and it looked as if she might not be able to hold them back.

Like I say a day filled with bright colours and lots of laughter.   I hope you enjoy a few of the highlights shown here.
