Newborn Photographer Leighton Buzzard

I’m a Newborn Photographer based near Leighton Buzzard.  I take beautiful artistic images of newborn babies ideally in the first two weeks after they are born.  Newborn sessions are best at this time as the babies will curl up and sleep.  I like to get a mixture of images of the whole family together but spend a lot of time just photographing the baby.  As a Newborn Photographer I make sure I have plenty of time for my sessions, newborn sessions can take around 4 hours – I allow lots of time to photograph the baby in different poses and outfits if appropriate and there is lots of time for feeds, time to change the baby and try different poses.   This is always done with the safety of the baby as the main priority.

This session took place when the baby was around 10 days old.  This is an ideal age as the baby is still tiny and sleep but the parents are getting used to the daily routine.  The parents of this lovely little boy were a former Bride and Groom of mine so it was lovely to catch up with them when I went to meet their new baby.

The little one was asleep when I arrived so we started with some of the sleepy curled up shots and then got some of him with his eyes open later in the portrait session.

I hope you enjoy this Newborn Portrait Session in Leighton Buzzard – below are a few of my favourite images from the shoot.

Family Portrait Session Olney

Family portrait session with a lovely family and their new baby.

I’m a family Photographer in Olney, near Northampton and Milton Keynes.  I’m happy to travel to you to capture images of your family in your own surroundings.  Alternatively I can visit a location of your choice.  Children are often happier in their own homes when having photographs taken.  It is especially nice to visit new parents at home to photograph the new addition to the family.  This photo session took place in Berkhamsted.

For this session the baby was about 8 weeks old.  This is older than recommended for newborn photo sessions but is a lovely age as the baby is smiling a little, beginning to react and their personality is starting to develop.  I usually take a mixture of images of the baby with each of the parents and several of the baby on their own.  We also try to ensure there are a few images of the whole family.

Hope you like the images from this Family Portrait Session in Hertfordshire

I was able to get a lovely mixture of shots with the baby wide awake – she had lovely big eyes.

Towards the end of the portrait session she went to sleep and we had some lovely sleepy shots.
